Key Uses (Indications)
Prevention of Skeletal Related Events (SREs): Used in adults with advanced cancers that have spread to the bone (bone metastases) or multiple myeloma to prevent fractures, spinal cord compression, and the need for bone surgery or radiation.
Tumor-Induced Hypercalcemia (TIH): Treats life-threateningly high blood calcium levels caused by certain tumors.
Method: Administered as a single intravenous infusion through a separate infusion line over no less than 15 minutes.
Frequency:
Bone Metastases/Multiple Myeloma: Typically given every 3 to 4 weeks.
